有情有義　大象遭撞死　同伴堅信還可救

【綜合報導】印度賈坎德邦上周發生，一頭大象橫越鐵路時遭火車撞死，他的象群同伴隨後展開反擊，疑似為被火車撞死的夥伴報仇。
 
事故發生當時，象群先是撞擊火車，希望能挽救同伴。但還是回天乏術，大象死後，象群連續數日逗留現場悼念，不肯離去。當地村民在象群附近點燃鞭炮，希望能嚇走牠們，不過象群依舊拒絕離開，之後更闖入村落大肆破壞，攻擊數十棟民房，村民找來驅趕大象專家，雖然成功將象群趕走，但大象隨後又回來再度破壞民宅和學校。
 
專家表示象群一再回到事故現場，是因為牠們以為同伴只是受傷，牠們認為還有機會救牠。
