黃金價格周五大幅上漲，本周則小幅上揚。因耶誕節假日影響，市場交易清淡。

紐約2月黃金大漲24美元，或2%，至每盎司1197.40美元。因周一有大幅賣壓，本周以來，2月黃金僅上漲約0.1%。

3月白銀大漲50美分，或3.2%，至每盎司16.22美元。

分析師說，黃金有逢低買盤進場，市場交易清淡。美元轉弱，可能引進了部份買盤，成交量偏低，使得漲幅擴大。一旦多數投資人重返市場，這波漲勢恐難以持續。

其他金屬交易中，1月白金上漲19.60美元，或1.7%，至每盎司1197.40美元。3月鈀金上漲7.75美元，或1%，至每盎司815.55美元。
