或許許多台南人知道新化辦十八嬈卻不知道其意義分享剛看到其他網友分享的可惜今天要上班不然就趕過去看了QQ 錯過又要等三年新化巷多，從空中中看像八卦，八卦又像蜘蛛網，因此有蜘蛛精，從古代的習俗是每年的農曆一月十八，新化的七間大廟都出轎夜遊，全村的村民持火把燒掉發現的蜘蛛網和蜘蛛，直到近幾受政府重視，並歸納唯臺灣民間文化，從上一次開始改為三年一次，這項活動叫大目降十八嬈，大目降是新化古名！有興趣的朋友晚上七點中山路、中正路口農會相約去看燒蜘蛛!! -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc), 來自: 114.39.241.195 ※ 文章網址: https://www.ptt.cc/bbs/Tainan/M.1425807570.A.EF4.html
